I was born in Virginia but grew up in the mountains of North Carolina. My family still lives there and I love to visit, especially during the fall. I graduated from Western Carolina University where I met my husband, Matthew. Matthew is the Executive Chef and Manager at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Miramar Beach. We have two cats, Aleczander and Stela.
